The County of Lambton, in conjunction with Clean Harbors Canada Inc., hosts several HHW collections events each year. The events give Lambton County residents an opportunity to properly dispose of potentially dangerous waste from their homes and protect our environment at the same time. If hazardous products are thrown in with the regular garbage, it can injure sanitation workers and cause long-term environmental problems.
HHW Days take place at the Clean Harbors Canada Inc. site, 4090 Telfer Road in St. Clair Township the last Saturdays of March, April, May, June, September, and October.
Additionaly, the County will be hosting 2 mobile Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events, one in Sarnia on June 18, 2022 and one in Forest on October 15, 2022. For details on location and what waste is acceptable and not acceptable, please click on the city name.
Bring your household derived hazardous wastes to the special depot, and it will be dealt with by experts, at no cost to you!
For details of what waste is accepted and not accepted, please read the attached Household Hazardous Waste flyer below and visit the Household Hazardous Waste page on our website.
